About The Artwork
Mirovozzreniye is a Russian world meaning worldview. I’ve created this piece while contemplating a wide range of issues, conflicts, as well as art, music, beauty, and nature which we experience in our time on Earth. This work consists of Izumo Mingei mitsumata paper and some printed images mounted on cradled maple panel which includes a matching maple wood frame and wire for hanging. Paper is affixed using an acid-free photo mount spray to prevent any changes to color or texture. A spray fixative has been applied to the finished piece in order to protect from dust and moisture.
