LET ME GO, DON’T LET ME GO, NEVER LET ME GO…an EPILOGUE; NORMAL (a series created at the end of a troubled relationship) was a path to closure, working it through… the drawn out process of healing = literally drawn out. LET ME GO, DON’T LET ME GO, NEVER LET ME GO is the rebuild; talking again, the sheltered shackles of abuse left behind. Counselling, rejoining conversations with friends, taking a chance on living again…new connections merging, a partnership…a new start about to happen…meeting SOMEONE. Someone good, someone right, someone who’d understand, no ammunition, just ears and heart and warmth, a happy ending to a year of unrest, a bookend to a certain sadness. Adding something new…A new light, a new guide, a new route. Book ending a chapter with a new sense of understanding, Not to return along those clearly marked tracks, the trace may remain, but now it acts like a runway to guide the plane safely … lighting up the footprints to come after a safe landing… On the journey home.
