About The Artwork

The artist has been working on this technique of reproducing leaves and plant elements since years. A special paper mixture is sprayed directly onto real leaves, collected from the artist during long walks or donated to her from botanical gardens. When the mixture dries it is possible to separate it from the original subject to obtain a perfect negative mold. In his collages, the artist tells stories of landscapes and associations between plant species. The paintings are elegant and thanks to their monochrome, they have a contemporary aesthetic that makes them suitable for almost any type of interior. They return a sense of calm, clarity and refer us to the nature from which the bothanical subjekt represented were picked. The metal frame is handmade by the artist and creates a perfect contrast with the lightness of the paper collage.
