the forgotten cathedral

These works were included in my last solo exhibit in Spain. The images in this work could pass for a factory building of any kind or for a site on the moon. What is perceived is the least essential part of this construction: the enormous tanks are not accessible and the exterior of the building does not allow us to guess its forms. Secondly, what is perceived, mezzanines of reduced dimensions crossed by mostly blue pipes, would only allow a spectator who is an expert in the subject to guess what he is looking at. In this way, by decontextualising the spaces, the photograph creates a different reality. Its all about semiotics.
