Sculpture

I am attracted to hidden art, which must be opened a book to see or, as the altars of the Netherlands with their countergates in grisaille trompe l'oeil, which by their contrast make the colorful world of their interiors brighter. In my sculptures, I experiment with detachable sculpture -- a set of wood assembled and painted that only shows its secrets when disassembled. I also have wooden boxes and turn them into small art theatres, decorated on the outside and inside and with moving parts. My sculptures are designed to surprise and delight.
