Fictional lives.

For three years now, I have built a collection of anonymous passer-by which I attributed texts I was writing in parallel. Those images offer to me the oppurtunity of sidetracks and narrations : short news items, meticulous scientific description, listings... All texts take the appearances of novels, maxims, aphorisms... From this ordinary daily, from insignificant facts, from this nothing or almost nothing, I try to perceive a human and vibrating dimension. It is a kind of present archelogy, an attempt to reconstruct the essence of something from smithereens. The street and the train are, for me, the cities obscene spaces where there is the importance of the glance, those spaces are point of all kind of traffic; it is for all those reasons
