    Andrew Barton Andrew Barton This must be some sort of an art-political comment. Rebecca knows what she is up to...she`s not a mindless idiot roaming the art world looking for her next fix.
    So what does it mean?
    "Artists inspired by Gauguin"
    The obvious answer would be the title?
    I think maybe she is trying to say that you all should perhaps find your own style...although...what you are doing is aesthetically pleasing...piggybacking is fun for the one on top...

    but he has done that in 1900 historical context.

    If Gauguin had been living in 2013 he would do painting in a different way,
    but nobody except himself would be able to say in which way.

    Gat Gat Me gusta tu obra. Hace poco he leído el libro de Vargas Llosa, "el paraíso esta al lado", donde se recrea en los últimos años de Gauguin. Ángeles Caso también ha editado uno sobre el autor: Alma de un salvaje. He leído los dos y he hecho una cierta inmersión en Gauguin. Me ha interesado sobre todo lo que dicen es su obra más relevante: "de donde venimos, quienes somos, adonde vamos". Estoy trabajando sobre este cuadro en concreto.
