Abstract Art

I would describe my abstract paintings as bursts of energy, which explore new and exciting ways of applying paint. I find endless inspiration from the natural world, which infuses my imagination with vibrant colours and unique shapes. The painting process for my abstract work is often quick, working mostly in oil I am able to produce large pieces within a few hours. I will have a rough idea of how I want a painting to look before I start, but once I stand in front of a canvas I feel like my mind is free and my hand is let loose to create a beautiful explosion of colour that is filled with emotion and drama.
