San Francisco Bay Area based artist specializing in expressive oil paintings that dig down in to the social and psychological aspects of humanity.
Currently in the midst of two structured collections: "The Degenerate Series" and "Psyched". "The Degenerate Series" consists of portraits and original compositions which honor the great art and artists banned by the Nazis during WWII. "Psyched" is an introspective analysis expressed outwardly by oil-paint application, texture, color, character and content.
Many of these paintings, as well as additional works from the "Business Class" collection are included on this site. Others may be viewed at www.alanderwin.com.
