PARADIZES OF PAINT

"I work without a pre-imagined or pre-set idea. In the strokes, the smears and brushing paterns of the paint itself all kind of figures and images reveil themselves. I let them stay or wipe them away. By working this way I experience a close contact between the eye and the paint. The scenes that occur this way, emerge directly from my fantasy and experience. I call them "my paradizes". From extreme concentration and intuition, layer after layer, these wishful or fantastic worlds results. I am not concerned about the style or direction of my work. I only ask for an attentive eye".

Older series:
IMAGES OF ORDINATION AND SURVEY - 59 Paintings about the ordination of the world and the human mind (2003-2007).

THE HUMAN CONDITION - 19 Collages about distorted images of man (1998-1999).
