Waldemar Duda
Born on August 20.1959 in Wrocaw. Graduated from the department of painting, graphics and sculpture at the national academy of fine arts in Wrocaw. Completed his degree in1987 in painting tutored by Stanislaw Kortyka. Extended his degree in the subject of visual activities and structures tutored by Wieslaw Goluch.

...Painting can be based on impressions and spontaneity, or on slow evolution. Artistic commentary on emotional moments is balanced by recording eternal truths. There is also art which requires self-confirmation during the process of social perception. I would like to refer to waldermar dudas work in terms of an evolution which includes conscious artistic effort and constancy of methods. Duda represents new polish art. I believe that it is already possible to evaluate the newest trends in polish art, although we cannot see its whole spectrum yet. Duda is an interesting artist and his work encourages critical analysis. Duda uses a universal artistic language and it isnt difficult to understand him.
