This realistic charcoal and pencil drawing depicts an eye looking to the side. The white color of the eye contrasts with the dark background, creating the effect of depth. The black pupil and iris add expressiveness to the look. The eye is full of wisdom and insight. It’s as if they see through us, into the very essence of our souls.

My name is Valeria, I was born in Ukraine in 2001. In 2020, I graduated from the Kharkov College of Construction, Architecture and Design with a degree in urban planning. As a child, my favorite pastime was to re-draw characters from children's books. Throughout my life I have been involved in painting and still lifes until I found myself in portraiture. I like to convey people's emotions on paper, to show them to the world the way I see and feel them. Read information from the eyes and try to convey it to you. Apparently this is where my love for eye cutting comes from. I work in the photorealism genre. Most of my works are done using the charcoal brush technique; the tools I use are: mechanical pencil, charcoal, brush, graphite, white gel pen.
