Although they are still technically legal tender in the United States, high-denomination bills were last printed in 1945 and officially discontinued in 1969 by the Federal Reserve. Why? Why can’t we have a $1000 bill anymore? Al Capone, that’s why! It is a little known fact that (original) gangster Al Capone favored the large bills for illegal transactions and is the prominent factor in the Federal Reserve* and US Government decisions to discontinue them. You see, big bills fit into small bags and are easily concealable. Now its much more difficult to transport illicit cash for whatever reasons! Big bills, gangsters, governments? Vices! *The Federal Reserve has nothing to do with our government at all, for reals, but that’s another vice altogether!

4 Decades of creating. the 80s, my favorite decade i became an accomplished graffiti artist. Started the first graffiti clothing company, L.E.S. Clothing. Then the first graffiti furniture fabrication with Ferra Design all while painting canvas, having shows and painting NYC subway cars. That led me to Hollywood, became the first graffiti artists in the Union allowing me to create murals for several TV series and movies but my heart brought me back to NYC to begin murals throughout the Chelsea Market which then led to a 13 year run of collaborations with famed photographer David LaChapelle, including well known shots with Madonna, Elton John and Mariah Carey. The new millennium would take me to Moscow to designs some restaurants and several mural installations but the cold eventually landed me in Miami when I achieved a personal dream-goal of opening my own gallery in Wynwood, the urban art capital of the world where I painted and painted for the monthly artwalk shows and i was able to self publish my first book about all those paintings 2017 I sold the gallery and now paint for fun and hobby.
