My little daughter shouted and danced as she was running into my studio. I was so curious and she revealed that she liked the painting that I have only finished the basic layer. That day was properly Mother's Day, and I decided to keep the painting at that step and asked her “Do you want to add something else?”, she observed a bit more and answered “Mom, her skirt is a bit thin”, so I laid some more strokes. Why is such a simple thing important to me? Because in painting, I am free to express my true nature, I don’t listen to or follow anyone (don't confuse that thought with "I don't learn from anyone"). I have met different people during my career and daily life, each type of work or relationship has its own standards and regulations, the common goal is to reach a compromise between the parties. Even in music, although I set my own standard for the melodies, poeticism, picturesqueness, emotions like I do in painting... but I still have to create within certain rules. In a nutshell, in art field, I can paint whatever I want and the appreciation of other people towards my works is theirs.
