My son Jacob, without fear or hesitation, scribbled stars and planets on my vessel in progress. The composition was effortless and the shapes charmed me, so I made it into this mosaic. The mosaic is entirely made of clear glass in various textures. Lit from the front, the vessel is relatively unremarkable. However, there is no grout, so when light hits from above or below, the light travels along every cut lines and whole thing glows.
