About The Artwork
As a announcement of the Spring and other wonders to come, an early morning finding of three peonias (paeonia peregrina) blossomed in April as an omen and a gift from the depths of the oak woods. The faint dark shape of the oak tree in the background seemed in a gentle gesture to point me with its branch the fragile miracle that had just occured. For those lucky ones who dare to venture and look into the forest these rare flowers reveal themselves in bloom for just a few precious days.
