About The Artwork
I have done several paintings of the plane trees along the road to the village of Pompignan. This painting is the one that I changed a lot. It started with me closer to the distant planes so that the tree on the right was not there, but I needed the vertical so I shifted viewpoint. The season changed from bright green fields each side to the dried up yellow of the high summer.
