About The Artwork
I am inspired by my visit to the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam and getting up close to Van Gogh's brush strokes, such vigor and expression. He did so many gardens, flowers, trees and fields and I felt with him as I painted the gladiola and sweet peasin my garden in July, trying to capture their beauty and vigour.
