This piece is painted on a piece of cradled board with a fine pine ridge around the edges, forming the impression of a narrow frame. It features a playful array of brightly colored parakeets against a background of soft emerald green. The parakeets are anthropomorphized in a lively manner, wearing hats or silly stiletto heels or boxing gloves. I so enjoyed painting it and hope that it brings other people joy too!
