"Pâro: The Feeling That Everything You Do Is Somehow Wrong" Painting: Acrylic on Canvas Size: 51"x35"x0.8" (130x90x2 cm) Year: 2021 This painting is inspired by the Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows. ? ETYMOLOGY: From 'par 0' (par zero), a theoretical hole on a golf course, which would mean it’s already too late—that no matter how well you hit the ball, you’ve already fallen behind. Compare the Spanish 'paro,' a stoppage or freezing up. The circumflex over the â is a tiny symbol of someone trying for something and then retreating. MATERIALS AND CERTIFICATES This painting is signed on the back and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. In my paintings, I use the finest quality professional acrylic paints and cotton gallery canvas. Created on, and shipped on high-quality, pre-stretched canvas on a wooden frame. SHIPPING: READY TO HANG I ship worldwide. Painting is packed very carefully in a cardboard box with generous layers of bubble wrap to protect it. Once shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking details and the expected delivery date. Feel free to send me a message if you have questions. Thank you for visiting!

My path began at the European Design School (Kyiv), which gave me an opportunity to explore painting and graphic design. That was a point when I got absolutely captivated by painting. My works used to show landscapes, women portraits and some abstract figures but most of all I wanted to paint something elusive, some sophisticated images and dreams. I experimented with different mediums, materials and styles, and finally have found my own way of expression. In my paintings I want to bring into vision some poems that impressed me, strange phrases or musical passages. I love a mysterious mixture of vibrant colours, lines and spirals. They symbolize universe, life, movement, sun, development. For me art is like a long and exciting journey to the unusual world. So, with my paintings I want to give people a piece of beauty, inquisitiveness and hope.
