Jungle of Houseplants and Flowers on Bright Coral Pink with Wild Cats Print

This domesticated jungle piece is one of the most vivid and vibrant I have painted to date, the scene bursting with life and color. It features a chaotic cluster of house plants including a little pilea or money plant, a pink white a green peperomia, a dramatic polka dotted begonia with deep magenta and viridian leaves, a delicate peach anthurium, also known as laceleaf or flamingo flower, and a striking and voluptuous calathea orbifolia or prayer plant. In the very center of this jungle stands a vase of proteas and berries with sprays of fluffy yellow mimosa blossom. Vases and planters include baskets and quirky and whimsical two handled lion pots in Delft blue and white. A ceramic jaguar or cheetah in pink and orange with white spots waits patiently amidst the plants while the tablecloth, a vibrant and playful floral on deep indigo blue, adds to the tumult and joy of the scene. It is painted on cradled board and may be framed or hung as is. The sides of the cradle remain unpainted and are a lovely pale birch color. It will ship carefully wrapped in acid free glassine and then cradled in layers of padding, in a box.
