In my paintings there is often a figure surrounded by this intense foliage, or a backdrop of tropical scenery.This painting of the girl in a tropical forest, is slightly reminiscent of the story of red riding hood.The girl ,the nature ,is beautiful and the light is streaming in creating sharp contrasts,i would hope that the viewer can appreciate the beauty in this painting whilst being transported into this other place. The painting is a box frame canvas.
