VIEW IN MY ROOM
I painted this of a middle afternoon beside the Uji River, south of Kyoto, Japan. I have been going there for over 20 years to paint. The various views are magnificent. I get inspiration from American painter George Inness and European painters Corot, Boudin and Constable. This painting is on hand gesso canvas. It would look very nice in an antique gold or silver frame.
