About The Artwork
Minimal, star, white, balance, asymmetry, sea, texture, shape, space, blue, abstract. The minimalist artwork is composed of a hand-carved encaustic wax surface on a sturdy substrate made of wood and is ready to hang as-is. Encaustic art involves fusing pigment and heated beeswax and damar resin on the surface of the substrate. The results are a soft, barely opaque, molten surface full of organic nuance and character that reflects the light. One of a kind. Signed and dated on the back. Commission.
