About The Artwork
This is another complex sculpture with a complicated organic dynamical shape. Ther is a self penetration in the upper part. I'm inspired by flow forms of water or air. But I also want to understand the character of the wood and the birch tree by sculpturing. I'm also always looking for an interesting harmony like a composer. The most is done by hand. Only for polishing sometimes I us a machine.The surface is treated with oil. The sculpture is fixed on a steel plate. It's also possible to take a stone plate.

First I wanted to become a scientist but than I studied fine arts. I'm working as a sculpor and painter but sometimes there are also land-art projects. I'm teaching at a small artschool for young people at Donaueschingen. My artworks seems to be abstract, but there is a inspirition from nature. I'm often on the way observing their colors and shapes Also mathematics and music plays an important role. Sometimes I use wood and stones to make improvised music.
