This dimensional sculptural wall art is composed of abstract forms rhythmically together. A tonal textural and linear surface pattern design is hand-carved into a neutral wax surface. The color palette is sepia brown over an even gradient from coral pink to neutral tan to sky blue. The minimalist artwork is made on a sturdy 3/4" wood substrate and is ready to hang. Encaustic art involves fusing heated beeswax and damar resin on the surface of the substrate. The results are a soft, barely opaque, molten surface full of nuance and character that catches the light and shadow. One of a kind. Signed and dated on the back.
