James is interested in the transition between material and artwork (particularly ready-mades as a medium) and uses Bicycle Parts and other mechanical objects to explore this. James has been a collector of objects and oddities since he was a child and uses them as a medium to express the secret nature and history that all objects have; All objects started off as raw material in the earth, we do not create, instead we curate pre-existing elements.
