About The Artwork
One of a new set of small sculptures that take the standing figures I've been painting off the canvas and onto the floor. They are a playful extension of the paintings and are inspired as much out of curiosity as anything. They try to answer the question 'what happens if...?". In this case, what happens if I build a small figure and cover it with charcoal dust.
