Sad Flower "It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important..." ~A. de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince. The Sad Flower is an exquisite work of art made in mixed technique: collage, painting, relief sculpture and textile on canvas. It represents a black rose with a face of a sad doll, crying black tears, inspired by Gothic aesthetics. Its skin is hand painted, the surface is varnished for durability. Its petals are made of fabric and the golden background is decorated with lace and aged in mixed technique. Size: height 25,5cm / 10 ", width 20cm / 8". Weight: 160g The painting is signed by the author on the reverse. It has a hook for hanging.
