About The Artwork
A round piece from my series "Erosion", inspired by rocks eroded by water. Made out of urethan resin on a composit board, this edition is coated with a dark brass varnish and then oxidized to obtain a patina in the recessed areas, which suggests the slow passing of time on a metal surface. Each sculpture has a 'Certificate of Authenticity' signed and numbered by the artist. The edition number is also applied on the back of the wall sculpture by hand. Dimensions: cm 89 x 89 x 3 kg 7.7 inches 35" x 35" x 1" 1/4 lb 17 The interior views are to approx scale, please measure your wall for proper fit. The artwork is ready to hang with 2 hidden hooks, the wall hardware is supplied.

My work is deeply influenced by nature, mostly wavy, abstract forms based on what I see on wood, bark, vegetables, animal or a rock formation. I focus on a particular organic texture and I bring it in the circumscripted space of an artwork. My wall reliefs with their three-dimensionality, can be observed from multiple angles and different kinds of lighting will have different impacts on the artwork. The physical textures create patterns of variation that stimulate the sense of sight and touch. I like to create patina on metal finishes since the oxydation is always unpredictable, different and unique. Through my website I collaborate with collectors, art consultants and interior designers, creating bespoke pieces of art custom designed for each project.
