About The Artwork
Made from recycled Mahogany and recycled Copper. The use of recycled materials is for me important. So much good quality material is wasted. The two outer panels of this screen portray figures leaping towards each other through foliage. The central panel shows the lovers together.

Paul Wood is an English Sculptor now back on the Greek island of Corfu after several years working as Stonemason in Germany. He makes hand carved sculptures in wood and stone, prefering to work with locally found materials. Often these materials are from recycled sources. His work is mainly figurative, and explores the sensual nature of both the material and the human body.
