The circle is a shape that not only dominates our lives but appears in the shape of so many objects. It is perhaps obvious but has an important metaphorical element. Simple shapes have enormous power that reach into the mind to evoke emotions not easily described by words. The bronze ring has inner edges that are polished and not being concentric with each other or the outer diameter present varying perspectives seen by rotating the sculpture on the slate composite base.
