Marilyn of the Dead art doll Sculpture

This beautifully scary fashion art doll is called Mailyn of the Dead. Her name and character is inspired by Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn is a unique one-of-a-kind handmade doll. She belongs to my Dark Beauty series, No. 012. My dolls are numbered and signed as I make them (on one side of the stand) and each one brings its certificate of authenticity. The Dark Beauty series is inspired by the dark art of the Mexican sugar skulls of the Day of The Dead. Some practical details about Marilyn: - She is a delicate art doll, not a toy and should be treated with care. - Height: 45 cm (~18 inches) - Weight: 515g - The clothes can not be removed. - The doll has its own integrated stand. - The arms are articulated and poseable. She is handmade in mixed media, I make all my dolls from scratch. Her body has an interior sculpted armature and the surface is sculpted in air-dry modeling paste and fimo (the hands). I don't use any molds. The doll's skin is painted with fluorescent paint that glows in the dark, finished with vintage effect and varnished. Marilyn is passionate about fashion, she will not miss a show. You will see her always standing out in extravagant and elaborate attire. Like the golden dress she is wearing, it's completely handmade and embellished with precious embroidery, beads and peacock feathers. She also wears a long necklace and a matching headdress. Her wavy blond hair falls down her shoulders like a great waterfall. Marilyn is anxious to find her new home and new friends with luxurious and dark tastes.
