About The Artwork

Marble Surfer is a real size wind surf board covered with marble. Artist Genco Gulan created a surf which looks beautifull but it impossible to sail with it. The artist inspired by the architecture of Milas (ancient Mylasa) region to give the texture to the piece. The form looks high tech but the texture feels ancient.
