About The Artwork
This piece is inspired by the tune "Sing, Sing,Sing". My folded works describe an organic progression or growth. This work flows, but it is dominated by the male/female dynamic frozen in an uptempo dance. The female figure's skirt flies sideways while her top suggests a torso in perfect posture towards her partner. The male figure is more reserved and straight, making his date look all the more beautiful. It's not that hard - step onto the dance floor, move to the beat, let her shine and see how the evening ends. That's what this piece is all about.
