Hearts Sculpture

My name is Janos Mezei, and I am a Hungarian artist. I have worked with several materials over the years, but wood is the most closest to me. In my work I like organic, rounded and wavy shapes. For me each wood is individual , both in texture and in line guidance, so I let these qualities prevail in my works. I start from a basic idea but most of the time the wood itself tells me the final result. Each piece is a new challenge, therefore every sculpture is unique.
