About The Artwork
Gravity (Pendulum) is a part of an installation called Matrix. Matrix consists of 16 elements that could be arranged and re-arranged whenever one feels like it. However they are ordered in a 4 x 4 matrix. The common thing between all of them is that they are made from a bamboo bowl serving as a background in the widest meaning of this word. However each element is made of different additional objects to convey its unique meaning. The Gravity is made of a piece of stainless steel and a hemp thread. The steel lump hangs freely in air attached only on the hemp thread.
