About The Artwork

This real pig skull has been sprayed metallic gold and copper. I have covererd it in variegated gold and copper leaf atop a selection of Great Barrier Reef coral prints. You can still see the detail of the underwater palace through the gold leaf. On top of that, to add even more sparkle, I have meticulously covered the skull in dust and spatters of iridescent crystal rhinestones. He is really a spectacular piece and the last one left from the 3 little pigs edition. His skull measures approximately 12 inches long and 12 inches high. His molars have all been left their natural colour and although he is missing some teeth, he still looks very feirce. The bottom jaw separates and has more decoration inside

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

Virginia the Wolf was born in 2013 by Kat Arnold in an attempt to cross the boundaries between modern art and nature. Unlike most osteoartists, Virginia the Wolf is known for using modern designs and vibrant colours to decorate her skulls. Drawing a lot of inspiration from alternative fashion, photography and costume makeup, Virginia the Wolf pieces are truly unique in that you will never find similar ideas or designs within the taxidermy/osteoart world.
