Dinner Date Sculpture

'Rosie was so excited. She had long been an admirer of Robert and his magic flute and now here she was on a romantic dinner date with him! After their meal, Rosie planned to show Robert her collection of decorative thimbles and he’d promised to show her how to play his flute in return. She simply couldn’t wait! With 'Dinner Date' I wanted to breathe new life into the 'found' china ornament by adding the modern element of a McDonalds meal which I created with polymer clay, ceramic paint and photographic paper. I am inspired by everything around me; fashion, current affairs, humour, society and social media. I like to mix old and new, whether it's my ceramic figurines or my digital work.
