About The Artwork
I've always loved cats, now I have two of them. I admire their plasticity and grace. I can also look endlessly at Egyptian figurines depicting these animals. Despite my education in the field of artistic ceramics, I was previously little interested in shaping with a potter's wheel, however, due to circumstances, I started working with it,and, studying the possibilities of such shaping, I decided to make a number of objects depicting cats.Here is one of them.

From my early years I knew that I should be an artist. When I was a teenager I fell in love with painting. I felt the freedom of it and it could convey my emotions better than something else. And I have retained that love to this day. I graduated Stieglitz St. Petersburg State Academy of Art and Industry in 2010. I paint, work with clay and porcelain. Very simple things can inspire me to work. I get my ideas in nature, architecture and myths. I believe that art is the evidence of something genuine and an artist should be honest and work hard to find his own way to show it.
