About The Artwork
This sculptural installation captures a burst of confetti mid-flight. Hand molded aluminum strips, painted in bright, ultra-matte colors to mimic paper, hang individually creating a mass of celebration and movement. The 46 pieces of this sculpture each hangs on its own small hook and can be rearranged to suit the collector's space. Taking cues from Jeff Koons and Dan Colen, the outsized minimalism of the piece abstracts a moment of whimsy and joy. The individual pieces are crafted from aluminum strips ranging from 2" x 6" to 3" x 9". Size given is the shipping container size. The piece shown in photos is a hanging configuration roughly sized 32" x 60". I would be happy to design a configuration to compliment your space.
