About The Artwork
A baby bird is born in a nest on a branch of a tree. Throughout its life it belongs neither fully in the sky nor on the ground, so even as it can fly around freely, it is also always nervously on the watch. At the end of its life, this bird is enveloped by the roots of the tree, and in time becomes the twigs to build a nest that will house the next baby bird.
