Skimming The Sunset" was a print which developed in my mind's eye over the course of about 15 years. The idea of creating the image of a sunset in a linocut print is very daunting. The complexity of colors and how to achieve a sense of mood (one layer at a time) takes quite a while to be able to accomplish. I was very pleased with the final result.
