This is one of a series of Intaglio Gravures that I am currently working on. They are based and inspired by the human urban jungles that we are so attracted by. These images tend to be devoid of people, ghost towns as it were, as monuments of transition and fleeing times.

Victoria Ascanio lives and works in London, UK. Ascanio was born and brought up in Spain. She studied Fine Arts at Madrid University before moving to England. There she studied Printmaking at the Ruskin School of Art in Oxford, and was Founder Member of the Oxford Printmakers Cooperative Association. She has taken part in fairs and exhibitions internationally and her work is in many private and public collections.
