DRUGS - Limited Edition of 1 Print

I am always inspired by the style of the 60s, comic panels, movies and the icons of the time. I want to invite the viewer to be drawn into the scene. I love that vibrancy on this particular material. Metal has a very different density and reflection than usual comic paper. Also, the large format invites you to physically experience and convey the scene alone. "DRUGS" is a digitally reproduced illustration from a print series on partially pre-corroded metal plates with vectorised originals of a comic special edition. The rust of the plates has been matured for a long time and adjusted by hand in the process. The metal plate is edged above and thus immediately manageable, see side view. By the way, it looks unbeatable on coloured walls!
