About The Artwork
Abstract Screen-print. edition of 18 .This print was awarded 1st prize at a national print competition at University of California, Cal Poly Pomona in 1981.It is in their permanent collection. Using only rectangular (golden mean) shapes and color fields that seem to blend into each other a sense of deep space is created not so much by perspective but by scale, tonality and design. This was inspired by flooding and its aftermath that came to me in dreams.
