About The Artwork
The after effects of the Boko Haram attacks that have plagued the African Country of Nigeria inspired me to go visit the Internally Displaced Camp (IDP Camp) in the City of Abuja, where this Photo was taken. This woman is originally from Borno state and was forced to move out of her home because of the terrorist attacks in the North-Eastern part of Nigeria. Although she lost everything including majority of her family members, I was amazed at the fact that she was still able to crack a smile at the sight of my Camera.
