About The Artwork

Sǽcir (pronounced sea-sir) is an old Anglo-Saxon word meaning the ebbing of the sea. I've always been fascinated by what the ocean waves gather along the shore line. The ever-changing swell of shining pebbles and sunbleached driftwood across rippled sands. Sǽcir is a reflection of this collection of natural forms, a space where numerous elemental objects converge.
