About The Artwork

It was a cold January afternoon. That day I walked to the tip of the Sorrento peninsula. There was a lot of wind, the air was cold. But it was pleasant for me to breathe the smell of the stormy sea. At Punta Campanella there was once an ancient Roman temple dedicated to the goddess Minerva. Today there is a lighthouse there. And opposite you can see the island of Capri with its two Faraglioni. That afternoon the storm was coming. The birds seemed to have gone mad. Punta Campanella, Amalfi Coast, Gulf of Naples. -- Printed with giclée process using fine art pigments on museum grade art paper: Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta or Photo Rag 308.
