About The Artwork
Persistence Absurdity is celebrated in this homage to Dorothea Tanning’s Hôtel du Pavot, Chambre 202. The domestic room is reconfigured to create a sense of comfort, the banal qualities suggest normality whilst perception is challenged to throw the viewer off into a surreal world.
